From President Patrick High Welcome to the website of the Stockton Police Officers’ Association. The Stockton Police Officers’ Association (SPOA) was established on or about February 13, 1914, and was known at that time as the Stockton Police Widows and Orphans Association. Although our name has changed since then, our objective remains the same; To further the welfare of our members by enhancing wages, benefits and working conditions of the membership, and to promote professionalism within the organization. In turn, this provides better service to the citizens of Stockton. The SPOA has a tradition of excellence. Each and every day our members report to work with a commitment to keeping the citizens of Stockton safe. The SPOA is a non-profit organization with a 501 (c) (5) classification. We support numerous community programs through our charitable giving and the promotion of programs that enhance public safety. We continue to work closely with the community and enjoy the widespread support given to us by its citizens. On behalf of our members, thank you for your support and interest in the Stockton Police Officers’ Association.
